| Environmental problems on a global scale, such as
the destruction of the ozone layer and the depletion of natural
resources, has gained much attention in recent years, reaffirming
the importance of environmental protection in the world. NTT Software
Corporation is fully aware that protecting the global environment
is a critical issue and, in addition to making contributions towards
environmental protection by providing our technology to our customers,
NTT Software is carrying out activities on a sustained basis so
that the burden on the environment that arises in the process of
carrying out corporate activities is reduced. |

NTT Software provides its customers with our
information and network technology, helping to mitigate various
burdens placed on the environment by making business more
efficient and conserving energy. |

NTT Software observes all laws and regulations
concerning the environment and, as a member of the NTT Group,
carries out environmental protection activities based on
the "NTT Global Environment Charter". |

Working towards the conservation of all of
natural resources, such as paper and electricity consumed
in everyday business activities, NTT Software carries out
proper collection of separated trash and recycling concerning
discarded waste material, has established objectives and
goals for itself so as to prevent pollution and utilize natural
resources legitimately, and regularly reviews and take steps
to achieve continual improvements of its policies. |

NTT Software will make efforts to purchase
products (green products) taking into account the environment. |

NTT Software has built an environment management
system, which is a management system intended to lighten
the load placed on the environment. |

NTT Software's employees have a full understanding
of our environmental guidelines, and as a company we carry
out educational activities concerning the environment and
attempt to better peoples understanding of environmental
